Problem Note 67773: SAS® clients do not display the error message that is needed for accessing ADLS data

A first attempt to access data from Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) should produce the following error:

ERROR: Cannot obtain connection to ADLS. Check options and tokens.
ERROR: To sign in, use a web browser to open the page https://microsoft.com/devicelogin and enter the code code-string to authenticate.

After you receive this message, you can then enter the provided code at the provided URL.

However, this message is not displayed by multiple SAS clients, such as SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Studio in SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5.
